Congratulations to Mei Tieng Yong for a fantastic seminar last week! Mei is a first-year PhD student in the group, and introduced her project to the department as part of her Major Review - sharing her most recent results about Pyrazole Functionalised Metal-organic Frameworks for Separation Applications.
Congratulations to Thomas for his first-place poster prize at the 2023 Future Fuels CRC researcher conference recently in Melbourne.
Thomas’ award-winning poster was all about “Catalysts for Efficient Conversion of Hydrogen into Future Fuels”.
Josephine Smernik and Joe Milne graduated today from their Masters, after receiving glowing examiners reports earlier this year. Josephine’s thesis was entitled: Metal-organic Frameworks as Supports for Metal Catalysis, and Joe’s thesis was entitled: Porous Frameworks for Biocatalysis Applications. Congratulations!
We haven’t posted for a while but had a look back through the archives to find some group photos over the past few years. One constant, my shirt! Note to self, wear a different shirt for the next group photo!
Had fun writing this one, consulting publications from Werner, Rosenberg and others. Great work by Michael Huxley and Rosie Young and involving our University of Nottingham collaborator Neil Champness.
Check out the paper here.
